Travel Writing Scholarship to Southeast Asia!

Hey Nomads!

It's time to do one final spell check and put the finishing touches on your application for the 2012 Travel Writing Scholarship to Southeast Asia - entries close on Monday!

You must apply by April 23 at 2pm Australian Eastern Standard Time for your submission to be eligible.

This is your opportunity to be mentored by Rough Guides author, Richard Lim, and break into the travel writing industry - with a chance of being published in 'The Rough Guide to Singapore'!

After your assignment in Singapore, you will head to Bali to join Stuart McDonald of Travelfish for six days of adventure and local culture (off the banana pancake trail!). Finally, you'll embark on a food excursion through Kuala Lumpur and Penang with Tin Cho Chaw of hsaba.com to discover how food influences the lives of Malaysians. And you'll be writing about it all!

To enter, you need to submit a personal travel essay on one of our four chosen themes and tell us why you should be awarded the scholarship. Head to the World Nomads Scholarship page for more information and to apply!

Don't wait until the last minute, only entries received before 2pm (AEST) on April 23rd will qualify for consideration!!

Apply Now!

Good luck!
